Lashari Ensemble
Lashari Ensemble is a men’s ensemble founded in 1984 by the director of the Magharoskari Cultural Center at the time, Valiko Tskipashvili. Although Magharoskari today is the biggest settlement of the people from Pshavi, the Center closed due to lack of finances at the fall of the Soviet Union. Since then, the group only occasionally gathers to sing. The ensemble sings in an old style, focusing on the songs their Pshav forefathers sang together.
